The Faribault X Dyani White Hawk blanket was designed by renowned Indigenous artist Dyani White Hawk, the blanket's meaningful design pulls from Lakota and tribal symbolism and features black vertical bands representing bison tracks and four-direction crosses, reminding us of our relations in all directions and our deep connection to all of creation. White Hawk is a multidisciplinary artist based in Minneapolis. A 2022 Whitney Biennial feature, her work can be found within collections such as the Guggenheim, Brooklyn Museum, Minneapolis Institute of Art, MoMA, Walker Art Center, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and others.
